Our Stateroom - Sky Loft Suite [work in progress]
Let me start by saying - we don't typically travel in this type of luxury.
Now that I've said that, we went with the Sky Loft suite, 1724, because we know we will be able to share this room with our family and friends during this week.
Our room has 2 full bathrooms, a loft style room coming in at just under 800 sq ft. The balcony is a 400 sq ft balcony - more than double the size of two standard balcony rooms. Holy. Cow.
Royal Caribbean has a Royal Suite Class program consisting of different levels, Sea, Sky, and the top class, Star. Our room falls in the Star class level. With that, comes a Royal Genie.
I spoke with the Harmony of the Seas onboard private events coordinator, not to be confused with the wedding coordinators, and our room will accommodate about 50 people max for standing room only cocktail receptions. Yay! We are hoping to have a welcome reception the day we get on the ship for everyone to mix and mingle, to distribute our welcome bags, and to give everyone a big thank-you and welcome to the party, type of event.

UPDATE:
The cruise wouldn't have been the same without having this stateroom.
We had the absolutely most amazing welcome reception in our room the day we got on the ship. We were able to have people over to hang out at different points throughout the week. And a super exciting thing happened - the Netflix movie, Like Father, filmed while we were on board so we actually were able to watch them film the putt putt scene below our balcony with Kristen Bell and Kelsey Grammar. Holly Crap. Yea - it was pretty cool.
